2025 Summer Schedule

Summer Drop-Ins​

What: These are optional, fun, kick-around sessions, consisting mostly of scrimmaging, open to all players (including incoming freshmen) and alumni. Parents must sign summer activity waiver.

Where: Angevine Middle School turf. Our turf will be under construction this summer. We will send out information via email if/when our turf reopens.

When: Every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8PM, starting May 26th and running through Wednesday, July 30th

Denver University Team Camp

What: This is an invitation-only, team camp held one weekend in July, in which our prospective JV and Varsity teams get a chance to train with college-level coaches and compete against other local high schools. All returning Varsity and JV players are invited to attend. Other players may be invited, depending on roster space available. More information posted in DU Team Camp page as it becomes available.​

Where: Gates Soccer Complex

When: July 18-20

Two-Week Preseason

What: This is an optional (but strongly recommended) two-week preseason training that leads up to and includes tryouts. Players should bring running shoes, soccer cleats, shinguards, and water every day. Preseason is very physically demanding, and is essential for preparing for our season. It is strongly recommended that any players hoping to earn a spot on a team attend as many preseason training sessions as possible. All players MUST be registered by August 4th.

When: August 4th - August 15th M-F, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Tryouts

What: Tryouts for all three teams will be held to determine our initial scrimmage rosters for the season. Scrimmage rosters will be sent out over the weekend our scrimmages the following week. An initial round of cuts may be made for scrimmage rosters. Team rosters will be finalized after scrimmages, and will contain our final cuts for the season.

Scrimmages (Tryouts continued)

What: We will have one or two scrimmages before our regular season begins. These scrimmages serve as a last opportunity for coaches to evaluate players before making final cuts to our rosters.

Final Cuts and Uniform Distribution

What: We will make final cuts after our two scrimmages. These will be sent out via email after our final scrimmage on the 19th. Uniforms will then be distributed the next day.

First Regular Season Game

Lafayette Peach Festival

What: This is an annual volunteer opportunity for our team, in which we serve our community peach pies, and also earn some money for our program to be able to purchase new equipment for the season. All players are expected to volunteer. Please see our Volunteer Events page for details.
